He works directly with CEOs to advise on multi-channel talent requirements, salary levels, benefit packages and other qualifiers for the right 'fit.' He then quietly and confidentially contacts potential candidates personally on a one-to-one basis. For many placements today, Recruiting Fees can be as high as 30 to 60 percent of the first year's total remuneration, or more. For a VP Marketing with a total package worth $200,000, the Recruiting Fee can be $60,000 to $100,000 or higher. Libey Incorporated's Executive Placement fees for 2008-2009 are the same as they were was back in 1989: $25,000 for CEO and VP positions; $20,000 for Director-level positions; $15,000 for Manager-level positions. Period. The fee is paid as a non-refundable $5,000 expense fee upon engagement, and the balance only upon success, paid on the start date. No other strings or constraints are attached.
